GUEST RIVER PENTECOSTAL CHURCH HISTORY
Founding father and mother E.B. and Crickett Bolling
Guest River Pentecostal Church was founded by Rev. E. B. Bolling and Crickett on April 21,1961. The church is located on Guest River Road outside the city of Norton, Virginia, deep in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. The land where the church sits was purchased by Bro. Bolling from his parents.
Rev. Bolling was pastor of the church he founded until God called him home, April of 1997. The Lord blessed him and his wife, Sister Cricket, to be a blessing to all those around them.
Bro. Darrell Bolling followed Rev. E. B. Bolling as pastor. He is working today to carry on the vision of the church. Pastor Darrell and his wife, Mary, have a heart for
God and for this fellowship of believers.
God has begun a great work, and He is able to fulfill that work in us. Over the years we have witnessed a great move of God's Spirit and we are looking forward to many great things yet to come in His name.
"Whosoever will let them come," this is our motto. You are invited to come celebrate Jesus with us, just as you are.
That you would "KNOW Him and the power of His resurrection" (Phil.3:10). It is our vision for all people to know Jesus, and have their lives trasformed by His resurrection power, and that God will use us to help spread His message.
That you would "GROW up into Him in all things" (Eph. 4:15). We endeavor to provide practical, relevant teaching to help people grow spiritually. It is our vision to see an ever-growing body of spirit filled believers fulfilling His purpose in their lives!
That you would "GO ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). It is our vision to equip and encourage people to reach out to the world with the love of God.
